The ultimate goal of Von Niemeyer German Shepherds is to produce top quality German Shepherds that not only excel in the show ring but have the temperament (and drive) to do high level work, without being too "hard" to be good companion dogs. Von Niemeyer will never be a "big" breeding kennel, in order to focus on good nutrition, health, socialization and training. I never want to get so big or so busy that I can't enjoy these magnificent dogs!

The foundation of any kennel is in the breeding females. Accordingly, I waited until I could get top breeding females. Through my friend in Belgium, Benny Geerts, I was able to buy two wonderful girls.

I bought V Pia Brebe am See, SchH1, Kkl 1a, and have been very impressed with her working temperament and spirit, as well as with her super structure and gait. Her excellent pigment and expression are great assets as well.

I had the incredible luck to be able to import a top producing Yasko daughter, V Bienchen von Tronje, SchH1, Kkl 1a, direct from Farbenspiel kennel. She is littermate to well-known, multiple V1 Boogie von Tronje, considered by many the most beautiful Yasko daughter. She had previously been bred to some of the top dogs in Germany and is a wonderful producer, besides having excellent temperament.
